Customer Service. Midwest Sports is Monday -
Friday from 7:30AM to 5:00PM EST. We observe all major
holidays and weekends. Our production staff works overtime
hours and weekends during peak seasons. Midwest Sports is
prepared to provide you with a variety of products and services.
Our customer service representatives are always ready to assist
you with any technical support, marketing strategies, billing
and product information. We anticipate that your demands
are unique and require solutions that are equally creative.
Payment Methods. We will accept company or
personal check with all orders and for your convenience we will
also accept VISA, MasterCard and Discover Card. All orders
will automatically be shipped COD for first time customers and
for any order not paid and over $750.00. A service charge
of $25 will be added to any check that is returned for
non-sufficient funds and future orders may be subject to
alternative payment methods.
Ohio Sales Tax. All accounts are required by
Ohio law to complete a tax exemption form and return it to us if
you qualify for tax exempt status. Out of state orders are
subject to your state laws and questions regarding tax status
should be directed to your accounting professional.
Minimum Orders. Midwest Sports does not have a
minimum order or dollar amount to process any job including
re-orders and remakes from an original job.
Product Pricing. Midwest Sports offers a variety
of products and services to our professional photographers.
All products are prices accordingly and with respect to the
services requested. Depending on your needs and
requirements, we can adjust certain pricing in order to minimize
your lab costs. In order to help you choose which products
and services would be best for you, contact our customer service
department for help and information.
Change Of Order. We realize that occasionally
you may have to change an order that is already in production.
Any order that is not already been printed will be changed with
no additional cost. Late orders received after printing
and assembly will be treated a re-order and will be processed
and received after the original job.
Rush Services. Midwest Sports offers RUSH
Services for any order when an earlier than normal deadline must
be met. While we try to accommodate your request with
respect to other production projects in progress, RUSH Services
may be subject to additional costs up to twice the catalog
price. Due to variations in workload and seasonal
schedules, RUSH Services may not always be available. All
RUSH Services must have the prior approval of the management
staff.
Shipping and Handling. Midwest Sports uses
United Parcel Service (UPS) as our primary shipping method.
Provided we have received payment in full, we will ship any
order free of charge UPS Ground Service. Upon your
request, we will ship any order UPS Red Next Day Air or Second
Day Air at your expense. It is also important to note that
if you prefer to ship any package by mail, make sure you use
Priority Mail which provides tracking for your order.
UPS Next Day Air Inbound. Midwest Sports
has available pre-paid inbound shipping labels for your
convenience. These are for your inbound orders and may be
used at any time to ship packages to Midwest Sports.
Pre-paid inbound shipping labels are not intended to be used for
reprints, reorders and any order less than $500.00.
Damaged Shipments. In the unlikely event you
should receive a package that is damaged, it is necessary to
keep the entire order just as you received it. It is your
responsibility to contact our office immediately so we can
provide you with instructions and claim information. If
necessary, we will reprint your entire order at no additional
charge. Midwest Sports assumes no liability for inbound
packages regardless of shipment method.
Copyright. Midwest Sports adheres to all
copyright protection laws and will not reproduce any copyrighted
material without written permission from the copyright owner.
Liability. Our goal is to safeguard all property
and materials while in the possession of Midwest Sports.
Submitting film, prints or digital files for processing,
printing or other handling constitutes and agreement by you that
any damages or loss by our company, subsidiary or agents, will
only entitle you to replacement with like amount of unexposed
film, print and processing. Except for such replacement,
the acceptance of the film, print or digital file is without
other warranty or liability and recovery for any incidental or
consequential damages excluded.
Film Types and Digital Files. Midwest Sports
will accept only 35mm film for film processing and JPEG or TIFF
files for print purposes. We accept no responsibility for
film not process by Midwest Sports. For best possible
results we strongly recommend professional Fuji or Kodak films
as they will provide consistent scanning capabilities with our
equipment. Cut negatives in strips no less than four
negatives will be accepted for single print or reprint purposes
only.
Delivery Schedules. We will make every effort to
deliver your order prior to or on your expected delivery date.
normal delivery times vary from products and services requested
however, most order are completed in 24 hours to 10 business
days.
Product Assembly. Every client we work
with has different expectations on how their orders are to be
handled, package and shipped. Because Midwest Sports is
efficient in providing a variety of packaging and assembly
techniques based upon the services and products requested, it is
important to communicate with every order your desired assembly
method. For more information regarding assembly options
ask your customer service representative.
Print Samples. Limited print samples are
available for your marketing purposes free of charge. All
samples must be printed from your negatives or digital files or
from a very limited supply of stock photos owned by Midwest
Sports.
FTP Upload. File Transfer Protocol is a
convenient way to upload digital files to Midwest Sports.
Depending on your internet speed and access you may upload any
number of digital files at any time. We recommend using
FTP for smaller jobs and reprints instead of first run jobs and
large file transfers that require order envelopes and data
entry. This service will be available in early 2005.
