Custom Templates

What is a Custom Template?  Midwest Sports can incorporate logos, league names and colors, reposition variable text data including team and individual image areas.  The advantage is the ability to offer your customers an unique graphic designed photographic product exclusive to your league or school. This is a tremendous marketing advantage for your studio as your products will be uniquely designed.

What is required to design a Custom Template?  Most designs incorporate logos, league colors, specific fonts and size which are then populated among all of the digital products you offer.  You must provide us with artwork in a JPEG or TIFF format and they must be large enough for photographic purposes.  Artwork in files sizes like 64kb or gifs do not translate in graphic art design as they are too small.  Specific colors are best requested by Adobe RGB values or we can sample the artwork for color.

Are there any costs associated with designing a Custom Template?  Midwest Sports charges a one time fee of $15 for all of the creation and design of the templates.  All updates and modifications to the template from year to year is done free of charge.

Can I make my own Custom Template Designs?  Absolutely.  Midwest Sports can instruct you in the development of each template design.  Most template families can have up to 20+ products that have to be uniquely designed by aspect ratio and a specific size ratio.  Your templates must be saved as PSD layered files so we can then program  into our design rendering engine.  Before you do this please contact us so we can help you set up your parameters.
